The second floor of St. Jerome’s University’s Library and Classroom Building (SJ1) will be demolished and transformed into a state-of-the-art library. In total, 17,900 ft2 of SJ2 will be renovated, which includes 11,900 ft2 of NEW Library space.  The project will also see the demolition of a large segment of cinder block wall to open up space to accommodate the new social and collaborative learning common, as well as our new café space, and information desk. Our current collections space will be overhauled to provide enhanced heads-down study space. The collections space update includes the addition of compact shelving and a lift to improve accessibility.
